It is a transfer which is not a surprise as we knew that the Jazz would still move soon, following having already exchanged Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell during the summer. Bojan Bogdanovic, whose name has been circulating a lot in rumors for a few days, is indeed flying to Detroit and the Pistons are sending Kelly Olynyk and Saben Lee in exchange.
After three good seasons in Utah, the 33-year-old winger will come to strengthen a very young Detroit team where his experience and his 3-point skill will not hurt. Last season, he averaged 18.1 points per game.
For the Jazz, the two recruits are less attractive. Lee is a young 23-year-old player who hasn’t shown much in the NBA yet when Olynyk, much more solid and reliable, is an experienced interior who will know his fourth team in only three seasons.
