72-year-old Bogusław Linda, a legend of Polish cinema, has just announced that the production “Assassination of the Pope”, which will debut on October 3, 2025, will be the last film in his acting career.

Bogusław Linda could benefit from retirement benefits for seven years. However, he has not decided to do so so far. Fans could recently watch him in the series “Thaw”, in which he played the role of Michał Strzelecki. However, the actor known from “Dogs”, “Kroll” and “Mafia Women” decided that it was high time to rest.
I’d like to eat a little. Travel around the world, dive, swim, fly, ride horses, have fun. I think I deserve to retire and that there’s enough of me in this cinema
– said Bogusław Linda in an interview for the Polish Press Agency. However, the actor jokingly points out that „if he runs out of money, he will have to come back”.
The last films of your career?
Linda, who has worked with Władysław Pasikowski many times, decided that his acting journey would come to an end with the premiere of this director’s filmwhich will be titled “The Assassination of the Pope”. It is scheduled for October 3, 2025.
There is another picture in production with his participation, “Duel”, a film whose premiere is also tentatively scheduled for 2025. Linda will play there alongside the star z „Game of Thrones” Aidana Gillena.
