There are already more than 37,000 people who have ‘liked’ a video clip starring a SITP driver, who received praise for ‘getting a refreshment’ and doing everything possible to continue his work behind the wheel, despite of the high temperatures that the capital has faced at the beginning of 2024.

In recent days, Bogotá has been experiencing temperatures that exceed 20° degrees Celsius, according to IDEAM, a thermal sensation that increases inside any vehicle, and even more so in front of the enormous paronymic windows of the Integrated Transportation System buses. Knowing this situation, many Internet users have praised one of the workers who decided to refresh his head with a small bath while waiting for the light to change at a traffic light.

The content creator ‘El Edwar’ was in charge of publicizing this scene on the social network Facebook, which was accompanied by the phrase, “Value the cuchos, they are also tremendous warriors”; words that led many to have a little more tolerance with these drivers, who do the impossible so that Bogota residents reach their destinations every day.

“Few children recognize the effort of a father”, “It made me nostalgic, he is a good man, long live that man”, “Sometimes children do not know or care what their parents go through to keep them happy”, “Those are the things that the passengers do not see, and sometimes the users are rude to the drivers”, “My respects to all these drivers”, “What a sin, fighting once morest sleep and with that loneliness”, were some of the reactions.
