Bogotá Launches International Art Biennial BOG25: A Celebration of Urban Creativity

  • The International Biennial of Art and City BOG25led by the Mayor’s Office, through the Ministry of Culture, Recreation and Sports, SCRD, places Bogotá in the great international art circuit at the level of other great capitals in the world, such as São Paulo, Venice or Sydney, which They have their own art biennials.
  • From September 20 to November 7, 2025, The BOG25 will allow citizens and tourists to dialogue and redefine Bogotá’s public space in poetic, disruptive and creative ways.

The Mayor of Bogotá, Carlos Fernando Galán Pachón, and the Secretary of Culture, Recreation and Sports of Bogotá, Santiago Trujillo Escobar, They launched the first International Biennial of Art and City of Bogotá, BOG25, at the Felicidad Chapinero Center, which will take place from September 20 to November 7, 2025, and will mark a milestone in the cultural history of the Capital.

Likewise, the Biennial will provide spaces for creative exchange, but also for dialogue and critical reflection. By decentralizing its activities, which include educational programming and workshops, the BOG25 will promote social inclusion and access to art for all audiences, including children, youth and adults in its neighborhoods and localities.
