Asunción, IP Agency.- In the Municipality of Coronel Bogado, a meeting was held between representatives of the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC), Mayor Héctor Céspedes and members of the Municipal Board, with the objective of discussing various topics related to the progress of urban works. executed in said district.
One of the central points discussed was the review of the schedule for interventions in the urban area of the city, currently in charge of the company Sotec, with an investment that exceeds G. 17,000 million.
Among these works, the Ka’i Puente promenade stands out, where expansions and paving are being carried out, reported the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC).
Regarding road safety, the authorities stressed the importance of this initiative to guarantee a safer and more modern infrastructure that protects users. The need for continuous monitoring was also emphasized to ensure that work is progressing as planned.
The road rehabilitation and maintenance project, known as “Malla Sur”, covers from San Juan Bautista (Misiones) to Encarnación (Itapúa) and includes urban road safety plans for Coronel Bogado and San Ignacio, all financed by the World Bank.
Among the most important interventions is also the creation of safe school corridors, with the aim of guaranteeing greater protection for students and pedestrians.
The commitment between the municipality and the MOPC reinforces inter-institutional collaboration in favor of better road infrastructure and greater security for citizens.
