Boeing: IAG orders 50 Boeing 737s with options for 100 – 10/27/2022 at 4:08 p.m.

(CercleFinance.com) – International Airlines Group (IAG) has approved an agreement with Boeing to order a total of 50 737-8-200s and 737-10s with options for an additional 100 aircraft.

The largest model in the family, the 737-10 can seat up to 230 passengers in a one-class configuration and can fly up to 3,300 miles.

The 737-8-200 will allow IAG to configure the aircraft with up to 200 seats, increasing revenue potential and reducing fuel burn.

The 737 incorporates the latest technology CFM International LEAP-1B engines.

“We welcome today’s decision by IAG shareholders to approve a firm order for 50 737-8-200s and 737-10s, with options for another 100, and look forward to working with IAG. to reintroduce the 737 into the Group’s fleets,” said Ihssane Mounir, Boeing’s senior vice president of commercial sales and marketing.
