Birgit Müller has turned her hobby into a profession. In addition to her work at the Waidhofen/Ybbs State Hospital, the qualified intensive care nurse completed training as a qualified fitness and spine trainer, became self-employed during her maternity leave and now gives yoga courses. Now also several times a day for 15 minutes on NÖN-TV.
“Through my 15 years of working at the state hospital, I became aware of three things: exercise is a wonderful way to balance things out. Prevention is important. And there is this direct connection between body, soul and spirit,” says Birgit Müller, who discovered her love of yoga during her trainer training. “It feels like yoga has always been a part of my life. I am very happy that yoga found me and that I can pass yoga on.”

In collaboration with her husband Andreas Müller (41), Birgit produced a series of yoga flows for NÖN-TV. “Body & Soul” is the name of the TV show on NÖN-TV. Each contribution is 15 minutes long and was filmed in special, picturesque locations in and around Wieselburg, such as the Kleiner Türkenjagd, in the Erlaufschlucht or at Lake Lunzer. “It is also important to me that each unit has its own theme that is close to its heart. There are consequences for openness & love, energy & vitality or strength & stability. “The audience should have the opportunity not only to be physically active, but also to be able to enjoy a moment of peace and reflection in the midst of the hustle and bustle of everyday life and thus be good for the soul,” says Ybbsitz native Birgit Müller.
Birgit and Andreas Müller shot “Body & Soul” episode two in a “magical forest” in Purgstall. “This wonderful yoga sequence shapes your body and helps you wonderfully to recharge your cells with a lot of new energy and joy of life so that you can go through your day full of energy,” promises Birgit Müller.

“We have now produced seven articles and will continue to expand this series. We always look for special places in nature. Filming isn’t always easy because the weather has to be right and of course there shouldn’t be too many people on location. “But fortunately, both of us and our two-year-old daughter are quite flexible – at least most of the time,” smiles Andreas Müller, who films the episodes with two cell phone cameras and then edits and edits them himself at home.
The “Body & Soul” episode seven was filmed in the Erlaufschlucht. The theme of this episode: “Love & Openness of the Heart”.
