Body of a sixty-year-old man found in Anzoátegui

**Teobaldo Martínez Leal, 66, was identified as the man who was murdered on August 26 in a wooded area in the La Zorra sector, San Pablo parish, Juan Manuel Cajigal municipality, Anzoátegui state.**

Through field research and technical-scientific expertise, the investigations of the scientific police determined that on the day of the incident the victim was drinking alcoholic beverages with two men identified as Rodolfo Brito (33) and Luis Tabaré (50).

In the middle of the celebration, the three subjects started an argument which turned violent, with the victim opting to pull out a knife-type weapon, being overpowered by the other two men, who took the knife from him and strangled him to death, and then they took Teobaldo’s body to a wooded area in the sector and quickly fled the scene.

The murderers were arrested in the El Progreso sector, San Pablo parish, Juan Manuel Cajigal municipality, Anzoátegui state; they were placed at the disposal of the Flagrancy Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry of Anzoátegui state.
