After a woman’s body was found in Hockenheim, the police have temporarily arrested two suspects. The baby of the person killed was taken into care unharmed.
In the case of the killed 27-year-old woman, whose body was found a week ago (March 7th) on the Rhine dam near Hockenheim (Rhein-Neckar district), two suspects have been arrested. As the police announced on Friday morning, the baby of the woman who was killed was also found. It is intact.

Body found in Hockenheim: Arrests in the Rhein-Neckar district
Two people aged 43 and 44 respectively were provisionally arrested in the Rhein-Neckar district. The police said there was a strong suspicion that she had killed the 27-year-old refugee from Ukraine. The police did not provide any further information regarding the alleged perpetrators or their possible motive on Friday morning. The two suspects are in custody.
Almost six-week-old baby discovered during arrest
During the arrest, a baby that was almost six weeks old was also found. A DNA comparison confirmed that it was the child of the murdered woman who had been missing since last week, the police said. It was handed over to the youth welfare office.
