MEDAN MAYOR Bobby Nasution and his wife Kahiyang Ayu are in the public spotlight after their names were dragged into the corruption case of former North Maluku Governor Abdul Gani Kasuba (AGK). The fact of Bobby and Kahiyang’s alleged involvement in the AGK corruption case through the Medan Block code was revealed during the trial.
The emergence of Bobby and Kahiyang’s names also made former Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Mahfud MD speak up. He said that the KPK should have been able to summon Bobby Nasution whose name was mentioned in the trial.
Responding to this, Bobby Nasution said he would follow the ongoing legal process. “I’ll just go along with it, I’ll just go along with it,” Bobby said in Medan, Friday (9/8/2024).
Previously, the Medan Block code used by Abdul Ghani when taking care of the Mining Business Permit (IUP) was revealed after his case was rolled in court. It turned out that the Medan Block code referred to Bobby Nasution and his wife Kahiyang Ayu.
The fact was revealed by the Head of the ESDM Office of Malut Suryanto Andili when he became a witness for the defendant Abdul Gani regarding the bribery case of the IUP administration held at the Ternate District Court, North Maluku Province. (P-3)
