BNP Paribas Fortis customers can temporarily make international transfers free of charge to Morocco, due to the earthquake that shook the country last Saturday, the bank announced on Tuesday.
“Many people in our country want to offer financial support to Morocco, including directly to their family or friends,” the bank said.
Normally, international transfers are subject to a transaction fee of 1.21% of the amount transferred, with a minimum of 8.47 euros and a maximum of 121 euros. This commission is now temporarily eliminated, and also on Hello Bank subsidiaries! and Fintro.
