PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) through its subsidiary, BNI Venture, introduced 10 startup participants in the pitching demo day from the Axel Arc accelerator program at the Tech in Asia Conference 2024.

Axel Arc is part of the BNV Arcade 2024 accelerator program which aims to encourage collaboration in the BNI Group ecosystem with a number of start-up companies. Through this program, BNI Ventures is committed to strengthening innovation in banking services and utilizing the latest technology solutions developed by startups.

“This allows us to find new solutions to continue to encourage innovation, strengthen BNI Group’s competitiveness, and accelerate adaptation to changes in the banking industry,” said BNI SEVP Information Technology Victor Erico Korompis in Jakarta, Wednesday (23/10).

Victor sees this program as a strategic platform to introduce startups that have participated in the Axel Arc accelerator. This conference provides an opportunity for startups to build strategic partnerships with various stakeholders in the technology industry, including investors and other strategic partners.

The 10 startups that attended the startup pitching demo day at the Tech in Asia Conference 2024 were: Rintisan, D3Labs, Qasir.id, Kata.ai, Ciroes, Volantis Technology, Fineksi (formerly Finskor), Zi.Care, Momofin, Duluin .

The startups presented the innovative solutions they developed after undergoing workshops and mentoring sessions by industry experts and investors during the Axel Arc accelerator program.

BNI Ventures CEO Eddi Danusaputro added that BNI Ventures’ participation in the Tech in Asia Conference confirms the company’s commitment to continuing to encourage innovation in the financial services ecosystem through collaboration with startups.

“Through this initiative, BNI hopes to create sustainable added value, not only for the BNI Group, but also for the startup ecosystem in Indonesia,” he said. (Ant/Z-11)
