The world premiere of the new BMW 7 Series Sedan will take place next week on April 20. BMW itself has so far published only dark teasers, but the other day, enthusiasts managed to take a screenshot from one of the brand’s product sites: the page showed an electric BMW i7 sedan of the G70 family without camouflage. It is difficult to say whether this was a planned action, but the page itself has already been closed, although the picture managed to disperse on the Web.
The new face of big BMW has already been shown to us updated crossover X7, so the design of the i7 sedan shouldn’t come as a shock. But you still have to get used to it. The upper eyebrows serve as running lights, parking lights and turn signals, while the main headlights are located below and have tinted windows. There are no more separate foglights, they are replaced by a special headlight mode.
Gasoline “sevens” will differ from the electric BMW i7 only in the form of bumpers and light strokes. At the top of the range will be the BMW i7 xDrive60, which will actually replace the 760i modification, because the company refuses the V12 engine. So far, only the cruising range on a single charge has been announced: 580-610 km according to the WLTP cycle or 490 km according to the American EPA cycle. We will know all the details regarding the new sedan very soon.
