BMW has updated the “charged” X5 M and X6 M Competition

The main unit of the X5 M and X6 M Competition is a new version of the 4.4 biturbo-eight. She strengthened the crank mechanism, replaced the turbochargers, the intake duct, optimized the lubrication system and the oil separation process. Despite the improvements, the engine produces the same 625 horsepower and 750 Nm. At the same time, in terms of acceleration dynamics to one hundred, crossovers lose to pre-styling cars (3.9 s versus 3.8). The reason is not so much in the hybrid makeweight, but in the new converters. The maximum speed is the same 250 kilometers per hour, which turns into 290 when ordering the M Driver’s package.
