Doha: The Portugal-South Korea match in the final round of Group H is tied following the first half. Both teams scored one goal each.

Korea scored in the 17th minute through Kim Jin-soo, but the line referee raised the offside flag. Korea equalized in the 27th minute. Kim Young Gon scored the goal. A mistake by the Portuguese players in clearing the ball from the corner inside the box resulted in the goal. Kim Young easily hit the ball into the net.
Cristiano Ronaldo had a golden opportunity in the 29th minute but the Korean goalie knocked the ball away. Later the referee called offside. In the final minutes of the first half, Portugal made multiple moves that seemed to be on goal, but Korea held back.
Portugal had a slight advantage in possession and progress. Portugal fired six shots at the Korean net. Korea hit all three shots. With two wins in the group, Portugal has already secured the pre-quarters with six points.
Asian powerhouse South Korea will need a win to keep their knockout hopes alive. It is not enough to overcome Portugal, we should also look at the Ghana-Uruguay result. Ghana has three points, while Korea and Uruguay each have one point.
