Bloomberg Players Summit in Jeddah, expected arrival of world sports figures

American and Saudi media groups Bloomberg and SRMG The Bloomberg Power Players Summit is being held next week in Jeddah, Jamarat, in which prominent figures from the world of sports will participate.

The summit will be held at the Jeddah Yacht Club in collaboration with the Saudi newspaper ‘Al-Sharq Ekhtaz’ along with the Formula One Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

According to the summit’s website, the event will bring together influential figures in the sports, entertainment, and technology businesses to discuss a potential wave of challenges and multibillion-dollar investments.

Jason Kelly, Bloomberg’s chief correspondent for the business of sports, will host the summit and begin discussions on key trends and topics shaping the future of sports.

Discussions will focus on key issues such as the influence of private sector investment in sports, the promotion of football in the Middle East and North Africa in particular, and new opportunities in the sports sector.

The event’s attendees include prominent names in the sports industry.

At the summit, according to Bloomberg Saudi Arabia Investments Minister Khalid Al Falih, McLaren CEO and Zach Brown, eSports World Cup Foundation CEO Ralph Reichert, Saudi Pro League CEO Carlo Nohra, Formula One Academy Managing Director Suzy Wolff, Newcastle United FC Co-CEO Amanda Staveley, ESL Face It Group Co-CEO Craig Lyon, VSPO Founder and CEO Dino Young, Director of Cricket, Gujarat Titans Vikram Solanki and CVC Eminent personalities like Senior Managing Director Gemma Wright are attending the event.

Along with these big names, more than 150 other distinguished guests are expected to attend the event, including CEOs of leading sports companies and key decision makers. The summit will be broadcast globally by Asharq News, Asharq Business along with Bloomberg and Bloomberg’s television, radio and digital platforms.
