Apple plans to launch a slew of new devices between this fall and the beginning of next year 2023, according to a report carried by The Verge on Bloomberg News.
The new product portfolio includes four iPhone 14s, a set of new iPads, three watches, several Macs with M2 and M3 processors, new AirPods Pro headphones as well as a HomePod and an improved Apple TV model.
Although Apple announced two new Macs powered by its flagship M2 processor at the Worldwide Developers Conference earlier this month, Bloomberg journalist Mark German expected this processor and other versions of it to appear in several other devices, including the Mac mini with the M2 processor and the Mac Mini with M2 Pro processor, 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M2 Pro and M2 Max processors, as well as Mac Pro with M2 Ultra and M2 Extreme processors, and augmented/virtual reality glasses that have long been rumors and leaks.
German added that Apple is working on developing M3 processors, which is likely to appear in the 13- and 15-inch MacBook Air laptops next year.
According to German, the news indicates that the Pro and Pro Max phones will get the new A16 processor as well as the feature of the always-on screen, while the other two phones will work with the A15 processor that powers the current iPhone 13 series.
Regarding the iPad, the report indicated that Apple will launch two iPad Pro models in sizes 11 and 12.9 inches later this year, in addition to a larger iPad between 14 and 15 inches coming next year or two years later.
As for smart watches, we are expected to see three watches: Watch Series 8, a new SE watch, and another durable shock-resistant watch aimed at people who engage in serious sports.
