“This is a terrorist incident in four different places in which six people were stabbed,” a police spokesman said, implying that the attack was related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The assailant, who fled on a motorcycle, was “neutralized,” added the police statement, which did not elaborate. The six injured were taken to the Khandera hospital, one of whom is in critical condition and another is seriously injured, a hospital representative said.

The police officers managed to immobilize and arrest the 36-year-old assailant from the city of Umm al-Fam, while of the six injured, two (one in his 70s and one in his 50s) are in a serious condition.
