The well-known Kyiv blogger Oleksandr Slobozhenko was suspected of deliberately evading paying taxes in particularly large amounts. He is also suspected of legalizing property obtained through criminal means. The blogger, in particular, runs a company engaged in arbitration of Internet traffic.

According to the official rate of the NBU on the date of receiving the money, they amounted to more than a billion hryvnias. The blogger received the money from the business activities of an unregistered company that provides Internet traffic arbitration services.

In this way, the suspect avoided paying taxes to the budget in the total amount of UAH 213 million,” the Prosecutor General’s Office noted.

They added that Slobozhenko legalized part of this money. He bought luxury real estate and premium cars. However, he issued this property not for himself, but for other people.
