Updated Battlegrounds Route
May 9 marks the end of Battlegrounds Season 3 and the start of Season 4. On that date, players will begin earning Season 4 Battlegrounds course rewards. course of battlegrounds of season 3 obtained but not collected will be delivered to you automatically.
The Season 4 Battlegrounds route includes new hair-raising cosmetics, themed around music and ETC. Purchase the Season Ticket and instantly receive +2 character options at the start of each game. Then, unlock all stages of ETC’s new Legendary Strike World Tour as you go, earn up to 15 additional hero and heroine skins throughout the season, and more!

With so many upcoming changes to Battlegrounds mode, we’ve decided to deploy minions in multiple installments. The first phase will consist of six types of minions, and the rest will be added in the following weeks. Thus, you will be able to assimilate these novelties in a more digestible way. And then, you have to know how to make the pleasure last! A special presentation event and discussions between members of the development team are also planned over time to reflect on these changes. The program :

- 8 May : Update 26.2 Release Notes
- 9th of May : Dev Team 2 Discussion, Patch 26.2 Rollout with Phase 1 Minions (Beasts, Murlocs, Dragons, Elementals, Nagas, and Undead)
- May 11: Discussion between members of the development team 3, adding pirates to the list of minions
- May 15: Discussion between members of the development team 4, adding demons to the list of minions
- May 22: Dev Team 5 Discussion, Mechs Added to Minion List

Battlegrounds Mode Preview Event
On May 4 and 5, players from around the world will take part in live preview events and test out what’s new in Battlegrounds Season 4. Players will get their hands on the six types of minions (Undead, Beasts, Murlocs, Dragons, Elementals, and Nagas) that will be available when Update 26.2 goes live. Participants will be live on their respective channels, where their viewers can win seasonal tickets, so be there! Here is the list of participants:
North America Group – May 4 at 7 p.m. to May 5 at midnight (Paris time)
Latin America Group – May 4 at 10 p.m. to May 5 at 3 a.m. (Paris time)
Europe, Middle East and Africa group – From May 4 at 7 p.m. to May 5 at midnight (Paris time)
Asia-Pacific Group – May 5, 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Paris time) / 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (KST)

Celebrate the new season of Battlegrounds mode with Twitch rewards! From May 9 at 7:00 p.m. to May 17 at 8:59 a.m. PT, watch any Twitch stream for 1 hour to receive the Brann Bronzescale Battlegrounds Hero Skin! Make sure you link your Twitch and Battle.net accounts to count your viewing towards rewards.
The Brann Bronzescale Hero Skin may become available for purchase from the in-game store in a future update.
