We have closely followed the discussions on the mission “Weapons of conquest” to get the free Gladiator weapon and we have decided to update it.
Due to concerns about the current implementation of the quest, we took the opportunity to re-evaluate how we might approach the situation. We’d like to try and put weapon choice back in the hands of the player while also smoothing out some of the rough edges that your feedback raised.
With the fixes, we will make the following changes:

The mission “Weapons of conquest” will be deprecated and removed from all players’ quest logs.

A new achievement called will be added Forged Weapons of Conquest to the Feats of Strength → PvP category, with a criteria of earning 2500 Conquest during Season 1 of The War Within with that character.

Upon completing this achievement you will receive 2 Forged Gladiator Weapon Tokens via mail, similar to the Supreme Caver’s Mark of the seasonal achievement.

As long as you have these tokens, Flirting In Dornogal you will be offered weapons from their entire selection, allowing you to choose your preferred weapon.

All 2H weapons will cost 2 tokens, and all 1H/OH pieces will cost 1 token.

Warriors are an exception, to give equal room for Fury, and will find that their 2H Weapon options only cost 1 token.

Once you have spent both tokens, Lalandi will offer his weapons for Conquest once more.
These updates are planned for the next weekly maintenance. At that time, the Seasonal Conquest Cap will be increased beyond the threshold required to obtain this achievement.
