In an article published just now, Blizzard shares its plans for World of Warcraft in 2024. Beyond Patch 10.2.5 available on the PTR and which will arrive at the start of the year, we find other new features with 10.2.6, 10.2.7, 11.0, which prepares the arrival of The War Within in autumn, and of course WoW Classic. What an incredible year for the World of Warcraft team! We extend our deepest gratitude to the community, which brings this magical world to life as it changes and evolves!

Last year, at this time, I published our first roadmap. I am so proud of the team, without whom all this would not have been possible! We know that it is easy to make promises, but we still have to keep them. That said, we continue to learn, and evolve with each release and announcement. We will maintain our efforts to listen to the community and be responsive in order to build a solid future for Azeroth.

This year saw a massive arrival of new content: six updates for Dragonflightcontent updates for Wrath Classic and the return of the Icecrown Citadel raid dungeon, the arrival of Realms Classic ExtremeBlizzCon 2023, an incredible race for the first world victory in Season 3 of Dragonflightand very recently, WoW Classic Discovery Season ! This year has been memorable and we intend to continue our momentum!

The time has now come to look at the new features coming in 2024!

In the modern version of World of Warcraftthree content updates for Dragonflight waiting for you before the release of The War Within. These next three updates will conclude the story tied to the current expansion and lay the foundation for the next expansion. Season 4 of Dragonflight will be an opportunity to add some new features and rework certain dungeons and raids as well as external content, but will also allow you to obtain completely redesigned rewards. During the spring-summer period, we will ask for your help with the alpha and beta of The War Within. We’ll share more details and important dates closer to these content updates, as we did this year! Obviously, we will not reveal everything in order to reserve some surprises for you! The Seeds of Renewal content update is scheduled for January. We are currently closely monitoring your feedback on the Public Test Realms (PTR) for this update.

Concerning WoW Classicupdates are planned for Classic Extreme with the arrival of standalone single-player mode in February, adding more challenge to your Extreme experience. Lok’tar ogar ! We will also offer other new products as part of the season of discovery of next year. And of course, we are eagerly awaiting the release of Cataclysm Classic during the first half of 2024.
