As the open beta test of Diablo 4, which is scheduled to be released in June by Blizzard Entertainment (Blizzard), is over, interest in the main story is even hotter.
In the last test, Blizzard was able to confirm the early contents and some character actions corresponding to the first act of Diablo 4. In particular, the directing that emphasized the visuals and story that made use of the gloomy feeling unique to Diablo received good reviews from users.
After the Diablo 4 off-beta test, Blizzard held an online meeting to explain the contents of the second half of the official release version. At this meeting, Blizzard Chief Game Producer Kaylee Kelder and Associate Game Director Joseph Paipiora sat down and explained the growth and farming elements of Diablo 4.
Below are the questions and answers that were conducted online.
-How many types of dungeon structures and shapes, including nightmare dungeons, are the maximum in the endgame content?
Director Joseph Paipiora “Overall, we are planning more and more diverse dungeons. When you enjoy dungeons with seals, the dungeon experience is differentiated in terms of bonuses and attributes. We are also preparing dungeons that can test the user’s skills at a specific point in time.”
– How long does it take to reach the end content?
Director Joseph Paipiora “I think it takes regarding 25 to 30 hours to complete the story. The real end-game content begins when you reach level 50 and reach the nightmare stage.”
-What is the drop rate for end-of-the-game sets and unique items?
Director Joseph Paipiora “Unique items are higher in rarity than legendary items, but we are preparing very strongly. Set items will not be introduced at the official launch stage. It is not something that will not be considered forever. At the time of release, the status of items and the Codex of Power system, etc. We have prepared a way to enjoy legendary items.”
-Which is more important in PvP content, character strength or user control?
Director Joseph Paipiora “Powerful items are important, but user control is also very important. I still believe that character power is not the only factor that determines the outcome.”
– Do you plan to separate PvP items or add separate PvP options in the future?
Director Joseph Pipiora “We try to avoid one shot that comes out because a certain setting is too good. We are not considering PvP-related skills or items. However, we will be able to obtain items of a similar level through end content.”
-How does the nurturing diversity change when the Conqueror board direction is reversed?

Producer Kaylee Kelder “We add a lot of elements inside the game to maximize the variety of choices. As you build up the build you want, you’ll find the Conqueror board interesting. Once you get past a certain point on the board, you’ll be free to think of how to connect it to other boards. You can. It will be fun to achieve a build for the node or glyph you really want.”
Director Joseph Paipiora “The Conqueror’s board does not have a symmetrical structure. Depending on which nodes are combined and selected, various plays can be made.”
