Singer Mélissa Bédard, who with her partner, Karl, forms a blended family of six children, plans to add a new member to the siblings.
“We’re in there,” exclaimed Thursday evening the actress and host, who took advantage of her appearance on Martin Matte’s talk show to ask the host to be the godfather of the next baby to be born.
“Karl has been a stay-at-home dad since the pandemic. It’s really a big plus. This means that I can leave with peace of mind. […] Like there, during the strike, we are still lucky,” explained the ex-academician to the comedian who questioned her regarding her family organization.
“There was something that formed with the pandemic and we said to ourselves: “Why not keep it following?” It’s another family formula, but it suits us and we feel good regarding it,” added the co-host of the docu-reality I love you bigwho invited around fifteen people to attend the birth of her youngest.
“I love giving birth! I’m like the princess of the day,” assured the singer, adding that she has no shame.
“There was Karl’s father, his stepmother, the friends who were waiting, my best friend… there were people there, it didn’t make sense, but they still took turns a little. At the time of delivery, we must have been 8-9,” she continued.
