Blazers and Raptors clean up

Portland have decided to part ways with the Brazilian Didi Louzada using the waiver-and-stretch provision. The Brazilian had arrived in Oregon in exchange for CJ McCollum and only played 7 games for Portland: 5 points in 17.4 minutes.

He was entering the second year of his 4-year, $7.7 million contract he had signed in New Orleans. His early career is very very complicated between suspension and the end of the bench.

On the Raptors side, it’s the Ukrainian rear All Mykhailiuk which was cut. The latter had activated his player option at least before the start of free agency, but will not do the season there. He only played 56 games for 12.8 minutes and averaged 4.6 points and 1.6 rebounds at 38.9%.
