Blaze Bayley, former Iron Maiden singer, is ‘stable’ after suffering a heart attack

British singer Blaze Bayley, former Iron Maiden vocalist during the 1990s, had to be hospitalized following suffering a heart attack last Saturday.

The information, confirmed by his work team through his official social networks, indicates that the 59-year-old musician is “stable” and with “a good attitude despite the circumstances.”

Due to this episode with his health, his March and April presentations within the framework of the “Unstoppable Tour” that was going to have him in the coming months in cities in the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic were postponed.

“We’ll have to wait a bit to see what Blaze’s recovery will be like, so stay tuned and in the meantime, we’re sure you’ll join us in wishing him a speedy recovery,” they added in the post.

From Iron Maiden’s Instagram, the group wished Blaze a “speedy and good recovery”, as did his fellow Wolfsbane, the group he has remained a part of since his return in 2010.

Bayley joined Iron Maiden in 1994 to replace Bruce Dickinson following stepping aside to prioritize his solo career.

During his stay in the group, which lasted until 1999 with the return of its historic singer, he recorded two studio albums: The X Factor (1995) y Virtual XI (1998).
