In the third round of the qualifying group, Blau-Weiß Linz and WAC are aiming for their first victory on Saturday (7:30 p.m.). While the Upper Austrians have been without a win in the Bundesliga for ten games, the Carinthians have been waiting for a complete success for four games. For Gerald Scheiblehner’s team, it’s regarding increasing the gap of five points to bottom team Lustenau; Manfred Schmid’s team is one point behind leaders Austria Vienna.

The newcomer from Linz has only scored one goal in the last five games; last week there was only a goalless draw once morest Vienna Austria despite being in the majority for almost 80 minutes. “The focus in training this week was on scoring goals. We obviously have problems there, you don’t have to be a great expert to recognize that. We create a lot of chances, but don’t convert them,” explained Scheiblehner.
Schmid calls for braver performances from his team
