Blau-Weiß Linz: Stadium sponsor extended until 2028

The players of FC Blau-Weiß Linz will continue to play their games in the “Hofmann-Personal Stadium”. The Bundesliga football club announced today, Thursday, that it has extended its contract with the Donauparkstadion’s name sponsor until 2028.

“Last year, the club was able to develop very well and improve in all areas, so we are now pleased to be able to continue to count on our long-standing partner Hofmann Personal and to adapt the partnership accordingly. The early contract extension until 2028 once again confirms the trust in the path we have taken and the mutual support. Many thanks at this point to Managing Director Helmut Herzog and his team for the appreciative cooperation,” said Christoph Peschek, Managing Director of FC Blau-Weiß Linz.

“We are very pleased that we have been able to extend our very successful collaboration and that we continue to be the naming rights partner of the Hofmann Personal Stadium. The partnership with FC Blau-Weiß Linz is based on great mutual trust and appreciation. Regular exchange and joint development characterize the collaboration. The anticipation for the new Bundesliga season is very great and I hope to be able to watch many great games in the Hofmann Personal Stadium,” says Helmut Herzog, Managing Director of Hofmann Personal Austria.

Season start with some innovations

Just in time for the start of the season, FC Blau-Weiß Linz was able to launch the new fan app. Here, all fans can digitally manage their tickets and season tickets, view the current match schedule and use many other functions. The app offers a central point of contact for all important information about the club and makes it easier for fans to access exclusive content and news.

From this season onwards, all subscribers will also have the opportunity to resell their tickets on match days when they are unable to attend on the Blue-White subscription exchange. If the released subscription is sold, subscribers will be credited with 1/16 of the subscription price.

FC Blau-Weiß Linz also did very well in terms of fan interest in the Bundesliga study by Market Institute. The study was conducted online among 2,300 Austrians between the ages of 16 and 69 who are interested in football. The blue-whites are in fourth place in the Bundesliga club popularity table behind Sturm Graz, Red Bull Salzburg and LASK. “We are very pleased that after the rebranding and new away jersey, we can now also present a blue-white fan app. This shows once again that the club is constantly evolving. The Bundesliga study also confirms the strategy and positioning of FC Blau-Weiß Linz as well as the work on and off the field. Our goal is to continue to be down-to-earth, approachable and ambitious, but humble. We want to continue to grow in the new season, develop the club further and, above all, maintain or establish it in the Bundesliga,” says Christoph Peschek, Managing Director of FC Blau-Weiß Linz.
