Larry Fink gets loud once a year. After the New Year’s Eve celebrations, the head of Blackrock writes a letter to the heads of those companies in which the largest asset manager invests his client funds. This letter has already achieved a kind of cult status – after all, Fink often gives directions as to where things should go from now on. The post – it is the tenth letter from Fink – has been delivered again this year. Key message: Fink urges leaders to run their companies with a long-term perspective in order to generate long-term returns for shareholders.
