“They were an asset to us in a situation that we have found ourselves in and continue to find ourselves in due to injuries. They have brought a very important element to our team because they both have this certain hunger, which hopefully has an effect on the team,” said sports director and head coach Philipp Lukas, explaining the decision to extend the temporary contracts with Ograjensek and Maver.

Maver has five goals and two assists from ten appearances. “Luka has exceeded expectations in terms of scoring, which gives us hope for a lot of positive things for the rest of the championship. Unfortunately, Ken was out recently due to illness, but he is a long-term player in this league and we know what he is capable of doing his playmaking ability,” says Lukas. Ograjensek prepared four goals and scored one himself.

**Interview with Ken Ograjensek and Luka Maver on Their Contract Extensions with HC Bozen – Bolzano Foxes**
**Interviewer:** Thank you both for joining me today. First, I’d like to ask you, Ken, how does it feel to have your contract extended with HC Bozen: Bolzano Foxes?
**Ken Ograjensek:** I’m very happy about it. Being part of this team until the end of the season means a lot to me. We have some amazing guys in the locker room, and there’s a lot of potential here. My start was promising, and while I didn’t plan on getting sick, I’m doing everything I can to get back in form.
**Interviewer:** That’s great to hear! Luka, what was your reaction when you found out that your contract was being extended?
**Luka Maver:** It was an easy decision for me. I was really pleased to know the team wanted to extend my contract. My teammates have been a tremendous support, and I’m committed to maintaining my performance and contributing to the team’s success.
**Interviewer:** Ken, the team has faced challenges with injuries this season. How important do you think your contributions have been, especially given your scoring ability?
**Ken Ograjensek:** I believe that every player has a role to play, particularly during tough times like these. I’ve tried to do my best, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to help the team. Scoring and playmaking are crucial, and I’ve been focusing on both aspects to keep our momentum going.
**Interviewer:** Luka, you’ve already made a significant impact with five goals and two assists in just ten games. What’s been the key to your success so far?
**Luka Maver:** It’s all about teamwork and chemistry on the ice. I’ve relied on my teammates to create opportunities, and they’ve helped me find the back of the net. I want to keep working hard and hopefully contribute even more as the season progresses.
**Interviewer:** Philipp Lukas emphasized the “hunger” both of you bring to the team. How does that mentality resonate with you?
**Ken Ograjensek:** It’s essential. That drive and determination to succeed not only affects us personally, but it can spread through the whole team. When we have that collective hunger to perform, we can achieve great things.
**Luka Maver:** Absolutely. We’re all in it together, pushing each other to be better. It’s that spirit that makes the difference when it comes to competing at this level.
