Black & White Cocktail Party, Significant Donor Party for the Library

Elegant Black & White Gala Celebrates Library Supporters

The Malaga Cove Library Gallery & Garden was transformed into an elegant scene on Friday, November 1st, as the Peninsula Friends of the Library honored 128 “Significant Donors” during a sophisticated Black & White Cocktail Party.

The evening shimmered with the sounds of the Daniel Diercks Jazz Trio, filling the air with lively melodies that inspired guests to sing along. Delectable hor d’oeuvres, courtesy of Made By Meg, delighted tastebuds and added to the celebratory atmosphere.

Guests were effusive in their praise for the thoughtfully curated event. One donor remarked, “Every tiny detail has been addressed, from the beautiful invitation to the delightful decorations and gift bags. It reminded me of times back on the East Coast when I was younger and we’d have elegant parties. It was so nice to get dressed up and enjoy the company of others who share a similar interest in caring about the life and health of our libraries.”

Another guest echoed these sentiments, sharing, “The jazz trio was amazing. It’s my kind of music and I was able to sing along to the songs. The food presentation was superb. The photographers made us feel important. The Board members and organizers took such great care of us. It was simply gratifying to celebrate together.”

A Night to Remember

The Peninsula Friends of the Library played host to a truly special evening, showcasing their appreciation for those who have generously supported their mission.

The elegant ambiance, combined with the captivating entertainment and delectable food, created an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
