A violent depression is centered over the Black Sea with a very low value of 975 hpa, leading to unstable weather in vast areas surrounding the Black Sea, passing through Turkey and reaching the eastern Mediterranean. The depression began to affect Lebanon with strong winds at dawn, and its effect will continue until before noon on Tuesday. This low brings with it thunderstorms that will become heavy between tonight and tomorrow morning, Monday, with a significant drop in temperatures on Monday and light snowfall reaching 1,400 ~ 1,500 meters.

In details:

Sunday:
1- Temperature: between 16 and 24 coastal, between 6 and 19 bekaa, and between 9 and 17 at 1000 metres.
2- Weather: Cloudy with local light rain during the day, becoming heavy thunderstorms at night with the formation of torrential rains.
3- Winds: southwesterly, intensifying in the followingnoon, especially in the mountains and north, with a speed between 40 and 90 km/h.
4- Surface humidity on the coast: between 70 and 95%.
5- Surface atmospheric pressure: 1009 hpa
6- Visibility: moderate, worsening locally
7- Sea condition: high waves and water surface temperature 24 degrees.

Monday: Unstable, with strong winds, especially in the north and in the mountains, and heavy thunderstorms falling at dawn and in the morning, decreasing in intensity during the day, especially in the followingnoon, while snow falls at 1800 meters before noon and gradually decreases to reach 1400~1500 meters in the evening, but it is light and the temperature decreases significantly and ranges as follows: Between 13 and 19 coasts, between 4 and 14 spots, and between 6 and 12 at 1000 metres, while the winds are strong southwesterly, with speeds between 30 and 70 km/h.

Tuesday: Cloudy and cold with the possibility of light and local rain early, then the weather gradually stabilizes but remains cold, and the temperature ranges as follows: 12 and 19 coastal and between 2 and 13 in Bekaa and between 4 and 11 over the 1000 metres, while the wind is southwesterly weak and its speed is between 20 and 50 km/ s.
