Like all films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Black Panther 2 is highly anticipated on giant screens. Release date
The biggest fans of Black Panther will have to wait until the end of 2022. The film will appear on screens in November. November 9 in France, and November 11 in American theaters.
Synopsis
This Black Panther 2 will have a special resonance. Following the disappearance of the actor Chadwick Boseman who played the role of T’Challa, aka Black Panther in September 2020, filming should take a new turn. A priori, the production should kill the character of T’Challa, but not on screen. It is his sister Shuri who should take over in the film and become the new protector of Wakanda.
In addition, some specialists speak of a return of Michael B Jordan in the role of Killmonger. However, this information is to be taken with a grain of salt when you know the scenario in the first part. Killmonger dies in a fierce fight against Black Panther.
The movie title
This sequel will be titled Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. We know this information about the seventh film by American director Ryan Coogler, since an announcement made by Marvel in May 2021.
Casting
There shouldn’t be any big changes from the first film, other than the disappearance of Chadwick Boseman. Actor Donald Glover, who notably played in “Solo: A Stars Wars Story”, but also in the live version of the Lion King, could join the cast to play the role of the villain of the film, namely Kraven the hunter.
And as said above, a return of Michael B. Jordan in the film is not to be excluded even if it seems unlikely.
