Modi’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has played a ‘prank’ with Congress chief Rahul Gandhi.
While scoring a hat-trick in the Haryana elections, the BJP made such a move to mock the Congress that it left even the children behind.
The BJP ordered a kilo of Jalebi from the “Biknerwala Store” in Delhi’s Connaught Place, costing around INR 609 inclusive of tax, and sent it to the Congress headquarters in the name of Rahul Gandhi.
JP wrote along with the message, “Jalebi for Rahul Gandhi”. But what was even more interesting was that this Jalebi order was “Cash on Delivery”.
That means Rahul Gandhi had to give the money for this jalebi.
Immediately after this move by BJP, “Jalebi” started trending on social media.
There is a story about this jalebi, Rahul Gandhi made it a campaign issue after tasting jalebi from a local shop in Gohana, Haryana. He suggested that jalebis need to be manufactured on an industrial scale in a factory so that it can reach the corners of India and the world.
But the BJP used this proposal to troll the Gandhi family.
Even after winning the Haryana election, the BJP did not forget to celebrate the historic victory and distributed jalebis for dessert. Rajasthan Chief Minister and BJP leader Bhajanlal Sharma went a step further and made jalebis himself.
