India’s ruling party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has started plotting a Muslim Kaddish riot in the southern state of Telangana. Efforts are being made to inflame people’s sentiments by declaring administrative decisions as anti-Hindu.
In Hyderabad (Deccan), the capital of Telangana, the police have banned all gatherings, sit-ins and processions for a month. Police say that this step has been taken for the sake of public order so that order is maintained in the city and no untoward incident takes place.
Bharatiya Janata Party leader Amit Malviya has condemned the Hyderabad Police’s move, calling it anti-Hindu and tantamount to giving a new life to Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir.
Amit Malviya says that this kind of move on the arrival of Diwali clearly shows that its aim is only to target Hindus so that they cannot celebrate Diwali with full enthusiasm.
Amit Malviya says that the Congress government in Telangana is a secular party and does not know how to respect the sentiments of Hindus. He said that this step has been taken only so that the Hindus of the state could not celebrate their biggest festival Diwali with full enthusiasm.
Indian extremists attacked the Muslim population on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (peace be upon him).
Amit Malviya also said that similar measures were taken on the occasion of Dhanteras festival and Hindus were unable to celebrate their beloved festival openly.

**Interview with Dr. Ravi Kumar, Political Analyst**
**Interviewer:** Good evening, Dr. Kumar. Thank you for joining us. There have been recent developments regarding the BJP’s protests in Telangana. Can you provide your insights on the situation?
**Dr. Kumar:** Good evening, and thank you for having me. Yes, the BJP’s 24-hour protest in Telangana is quite significant. It reflects the party’s efforts to challenge the Congress-led state government on specific issues, particularly those concerning farmers’ rights and promises made during previous election campaigns.
**Interviewer:** Reports suggest that there are fears about potential communal tensions linked to these protests. Do you think the protest could inflame such sentiments?
**Dr. Kumar:** There is always a risk when political protests are framed around religious lines. In the current political climate, both parties can sometimes use communal narratives to rally their bases. It’s essential for leaders to focus on the core issues facing farmers rather than allowing the discourse to shift toward communal tensions.
**Interviewer:** The BJP has been accused of plotting to incite communal riots in Telangana. How credible are these claims?
**Dr. Kumar:** Those claims come from political opponents and often lack substantial evidence. However, it’s crucial to remain vigilant. Politically charged rhetoric can lead to escalated tensions, which is not in the interests of any community or the state as a whole. Political parties should prioritize dialogue over confrontation.
**Interviewer:** What do you think the Congress-led government should do in response to the BJP’s protest?
**Dr. Kumar:** The Congress government must address the issues raised by the BJP regarding farmers’ welfare proactively. Engaging with community leaders and addressing grievances transparently could help mitigate tensions. It’s vital to create a narrative that focuses on development and unity rather than division.
**Interviewer:** Thank you for your insights, Dr. Kumar. We appreciate your time today.
**Dr. Kumar:** Thank you for having me. It’s an important discussion, and I hope for a peaceful resolution.
