The Supreme Court rejected PTI’s review petition against the bat sign verdict. The Chief Justice stopped lawyer Hamid Khan from bringing politics in the court and said that if you have to make a speech, do it outside. No mistake could be proved in the January 13 decision.

A three-member bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa, heard the review petition. Lawyer Hamid Khan requested to constitute a larger bench and said that this matter should be sent to the Judges Committee and a new bench should be constituted. The existing three-member bench cannot hear the case.

The Chief Justice asked why you did not raise this point earlier. Take the case. Hamid Khan refused to give arguments saying that I cannot give arguments in front of a person who is very biased against us.

The Chief Justice said that I cannot force you. Leave politics out while coming to court. If you want to make a speech, do it outside. It’s not like they come and say whatever they want. Bring politics to court.

The Chief Justice said that the revision in the case of reserved seats is pending. A revision petition raises questions on the legality of judicial decisions.

Justice Musrat Hilali said that the reason for accusing the partisan is not clear, two weeks time was given to conduct the elections. It is not that you people are not interested in inter-party elections? And want to get sympathy from people.

Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar said that if there was a bias in the case, why was the application not filed? The Supreme Court said that the court gave another chance to the lawyers of the parties but the arguments were not given on the case. No error could be proved in our decision of January 13. The revision petitions are dismissed.

The lawyer took the position that our position should also be written in the order as to why arguments were not given. On which the Chief Justice said that do not tell us what to write in the order.
