This is the cold air flow 1.5km above the ground around the Korean Peninsula predicted by a supercomputer.
Cold air of -12 degrees Celsius will descend from the northwest and cover the entire Korean Peninsula, and icy air of -18 degrees Celsius will follow from this afternoon and affect the entire country tomorrow.
Tomorrow morning, the lowest temperature in Seoul will be -14 degrees Celsius, -13 degrees Celsius in Chungju, North Chungcheong Province, -18 degrees Celsius in Cheorwon, Gangwon-do, and -21 degrees Celsius in Daegwallyeong, with temperatures ranging from -18 degrees Celsius to -4 degrees Celsius across the country.
As the wind blows strongly, the cold will be felt even more.
The perceived temperature will be -21 degrees in Seoul, -25 degrees in Sokcho, Gangwon-do, -31 degrees in Daegwallyeong, and the southern regions of Ulsan and Yeosu, Jeollanam-do will also be very cold at -14 degrees.
The cold continues even during the day, with most areas across the country staying below 0 degrees, including Seoul’s highest temperature of -7 degrees.
A cold wave warning has been issued for the metropolitan area, Gangwon, Chungcheong, and inland Gyeongbuk.
The cold wave will continue until the day after tomorrow and temperatures will rise somewhat, but temperatures will remain below normal until Friday.

As cold air flows into the relatively warm West Sea, creating strong snow clouds, heavy snow will fall in the West Coast area until the day after tomorrow.
Currently, heavy snow warnings are in effect throughout South Chungcheong Province, western Jeolla Province, and Jeju Island.
Until tomorrow, snowfall of up to 60 cm or more is forecast in the Jeju mountains, 5 to 15 cm in the west coast of Gwangju and Jeolla, and up to 10 cm in the west coast of Chungcheongnam-do.
