Bitcoin crashes with stock markets: What minus is still threatening – IT business

The joy of crypto investors was short-lived. After Bitcoin closed the day up 5.2 percent on Wednesday following the announcement of the interest rate hike by the US Federal Reserve (Fed) and even temporarily scratched the $40,000 mark once more, the rude awakening followed on Thursday. Together with the US stock markets, above all the Nasdaq technology exchange, Bitcoin fell by almost eight percent to $36,200. Smaller cryptocurrencies fell tens of percent.
