The series helped the city become a center for creativity and film production. Several major Hollywood films have been filmed here in recent years. This is Mission: Impossible 7 and Ready Player One by Steven Spielberg.
That is why the Birmingham authorities thanked the creators of Peaky Blinders for their contribution to the development of the city and the tourist destination of the area. This was reported in The Guardian.
