The sound they made when landing was similar to that of various U.S. formations bird’s eye view It was a direct hit last May. The other side of crisp hard rock and “Red Light Habits” opened the door and led the German quartet on numerous tours, including supporting Skid Row, Dirty Honey and Soulfly. her second album “Commando House” They added it just 22 months later and impressively proved they weren’t a flash in the pan.

Songs like “Come Back Home” are typical of the album – short, crisp, with small, almost imperceptible barbs. A surprisingly rough ride, even a bit of desert rock, met with anthemic sounds before it all happened too fast. In the opening scene of “Vienna,” the initial power emerges in the lull before things take off. Not for the last time, certain memories of the Spitfire are brought back, and it’s certainly not the worst reference. The next “Stay Down” moves forward wonderfully, seemingly depressing, but also brisk. Once again, this supposed contradiction works its refreshing magic.

A bird’s-eye view also lends itself to surprises. “More To Come”, for example, has a crushing post-hardcore demolition that’s reminiscent of early Denial, before the rock emerged from the garage, hinting at the need for harmony as the eye of the storm. “What It’s Like” ultimately settles into a semi-ballad-like format, with a hint of blues in places, and is almost epic in the second half with a brilliant solo. But the diminutive, crisp rockers don’t miss their mark either. “Pin Drop” is a rock radio hit with a punk spirit, “Came Been” is an alt-heavy hit with a poppy texture, while “Colorblind” has a folk style reminiscent of Led Zeppelin. Early works.

It’s this diversity that ultimately highlights the band’s class. Although their second album goes by quickly, House Of Commando leaves you in a good mood. Almost all the trappings of American rock radio are here, not trendy, not pandering to anything. Bird’s View has finally highlighted its identity and emphasized its quality. Eleven catchy tunes and mini-hits are dropped into your hands through an imaginary plug-in, without any wasted or filler material. In this format, it should be only a matter of time before we get a bird’s eye view of the really big stage.
