Main SECRETARY of the State Intelligence Agency (Sestama BIN) Commissioner General of Police (Komjen Pol) Bambang Sunarwibowo views that BIN and IKN need to increase synergy.
According to him, synergy and collaboration between the two institutions is very much needed in facing changes in the increasingly complex strategic environment at the global and regional levels.
“Close cooperation between IKN and BIN is vital in facing growing threats, ranging from conventional security to cyber threats,” said Police Commissioner General Bambang in a statement received in Jakarta, Wednesday (8/5).
The BIN Secretary continued that the institution led by the Head of BIN, General Police (Ret.) Budi Gunawan, was ready to synergize with OIKN in order to strengthen the defense and security system at IKN.
One of these efforts is carried out through preparing a defense and security system based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) or centralized artificial intelligence on the One Signal Network.
In the same place, the Secretary of the IKN Authority, Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya SH explained that IKN will become a safe, modern and sustainable government center.

“The defense and security system is built through the Defense and Security system which integrates various aspects of military and non-military defense, which is in harmony with diplomacy and supported by intelligent defense which is being built and developed by the Ministry of Defense,” he explained
Meanwhile, the smart security concept, which was discussed in the IKN Defense and Security Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in October 2023, has become an important basis for preparing a smart security strategy at IKN.
“We have integrated this smart security concept with ongoing policies and programs, including with related parties such as BIN in an effort to maintain security and order at IKN,” concluded Jaka. (Z-8)
