The future owner of the Canadian NHL club Ottawa Senators has been determined. It will be the billionaire Michael Endlauer, informs NHL website.
The procedure will be completed when Endlauer’s candidacy is approved by other owners of NHL clubs.
The Senators will cost the new owner $950 million. Endlauer is the co-owner of Montreal and the owner of the Hamilton Bulldogs of the Ontario League.
Endlauer, 57, has made a fortune in the transportation and logistics business, with healthcare institutions as his main clients.
Actor Ryan Reynolds, together with investors from the Remington Group, and rapper Snoop Dogg and businessman Neko Sparks also fought for the right to buy the club.
