[Sports Road News]The first World Mixed Doubles Invitational Tournament held by the World Snooker Tour (WST) will be staged in Milton Keynes, UK from September 24th to 25th. The tournament will announce the schedule today, and the opening match will be played on the opening day (24th). In the pinnacle matchup, Ronnie O’Sullivan/Reanne Evans of “World One” will challenge “World Two” Judd Trump/Wu Anyi.

The World Mixed Doubles competition invites 4 men and 4 women’s top stars to compete for the bid. The men’s players are the current world champion O’Sullivan, the 2019 world champion Zhuo Limpu, the 4th world champion Mark Selby and the 2010 world champion Mark Selby. Champion Neil Robertson; women’s players are 12-time world champion Reanne Evans, current world champion Nutcharut Wongharuthai, and women’s world No. 4 Rebecca Kenna And three-time world champion Wu Anyi.

This innovative event will be held in the form of men’s and women’s matching. The competition will last for 2 days. The four pairs will play a single round-robin group match first.
