Speaking at the National Assembly session, Federal Minister Mossadegh Malik said that under the Green Carpet Initiative, 8 lakh acres of land has been allocated to make barren land suitable for farming. And Sindh has contributed, there is a 211 billion project in which 296 km of canals will be built.
He said that Punjab will give its share of water, no other province’s water will be taken, Punjab’s water will be used to settle barren land, 4 months of water from Punjab’s water and two months of flood water will be used.

Mossadegh Malik said that the federal government does not have the right to tell the provinces how to use water, everyone has to make their own decision, only 2 provinces have agreed to it, we have set up a telemetry program. If anyone has any concerns, I will sit with them.
Mirghulam Ali Talpur said that new waders and new chaudris are being built, these lands should be given to the people there. On this, Syed Hussain Tariq said that the land was given by the elected provincial government or by the caretaker provincial government?
Federal Minister Mossadegh Malik said that we will do productive farming, if you are right then withdraw the decision, the elected government has come then withdraw the decision, we will obey the order from CCI.

A bill to further amend the Criminal Laws was introduced
Sohail Sultan of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf presented the bill for further amendment of criminal laws in the National Assembly.
