Bill Cosby plans his comeback for 2023

Released from prison in 2021, the actor seems determined to get back on stage.

All that was missing: making a surprise appearance on a small independent radio station, WGH Talk, Bill Cosby announced that he intended to go back on stage to perform there. Aged 85, the former television star was charged in the 2010s for rape and sexual assault committed on around fifty women, before being sentenced to ten years in prison, the rest being prescribed.

Released from prison in 2021 following serving three and a half years, Cosby might have ended his days in complete discretion, but that is clearly not part of his plans. Asked regarding his desire to play once more in front of an audience, the actor explicitly answered in the affirmative.

“Yes. Yes, because there is so much to have fun with, so much to tell,” he told presenter Scott Spears. And these are far from being empty words, assures Jezebel, who specifies that the agent of Cosby confirmed the information. The former idol really aims to go on tour starting in the spring or summer of 2023. “When I’m out of all this, I feel like I’ll be able to perform and be the Bill Cosby that my audience knows” , he also claimed on the radio show.

Guaranteed success

But what exactly is Cosby referring to when he talks regarding “all that stuff”? Perhaps to the five women who decided to sue him last November.
