Well-known star and sports equipment reporter Nick DePaula (Nick DePaula) broke the news that the head of the NBA Warriors star Stephen Curry and the sports brand Under Armor completed the contract renewal. The two parties signed a long-term extended contract, the total value of the contract is expected up to US$1 billion (approximately NT$30.7 billion).

Corey and UA have been cooperating for 10 years. This time, UA made a sincere offer to renew the contract and negotiated with Corey to renew the contract. This contract will cover Corey’s next career, even following retirement. It will last (basically a lifetime contract). Although the details of the contract renewal have not been announced to the public, the combined annual salary, equity and attendance bonus is expected to be worth $1 billion, which is much higher than the total salary of his career so far. Even if the 2025-26 season is over, Curry’s total career salary is only $473 million.
Curry will also serve as the president of UA’s “Curry Brand”, and will also be one of the founders of UA’s newly established Athlete Advisory Committee, providing advice on UA’s product and brand development.
