Samsung’s March update for its Galaxy devices arrived in Europe without artificial intelligence (AI) on the Galaxy S23 smartphones. That’s why it’s expected that the AI functions will be distributed with the upcoming April update. One UI 6.1 is available with and without AI.
The features include, for example, real-time translation (Live Translate) for telephone calls. In our test, this feature worked pretty well with a Galaxy S24 ultra. “Swiss IT Magazine” tested the S24 with AI functions.
The following models should benefit from AI features:
-Galaxy S23
-Galaxy S23 Plus
-Galaxy S23 Ultra
-Galaxy S23 FE
-Galaxy Z Flip 5
-Galaxy Z Fold 5
The update is scheduled to start on March 28, 2024. As the company has confirmed, the rollout will initially begin in South Korea (via “Giga.de”). But the update should come to Europe in April, like “Sammobile” reported.
Older and incompatible devices are also provided with new software, but without artificial intelligence. (cma)
