Yelp, the restaurant review website, has temporarily made it impossible to post reviews about the McDonald’s branch where Donald Trump was in the kitchen on Sunday. The (fake) responses came from all over the country and were, for example, about ‘an employee who has been convicted of crimes’.

“Convicted felon cursed at customers, mostly women, didn’t wear gloves while making the fries, and worked for five minutes at a time before sitting down for a nap,” read one review. “There was a huge orange rat in the kitchen,” someone else wrote.

‘Crying over fries’

Another comment referenced Trump’s complaint that he actually won the election four years ago, but it was “stolen” by Democrats — an unproven claim that Trump maintains to this day: “The fries were way too salty, as if someone who lost an election had been crying over it for an hour.”

Still other reviews complained about the restaurant itself, which they said had given Trump the opportunity to campaign at a branch of the fast-food chain. “If you make such poor management decisions, I will never eat anything you make again.”

In this video you see images of Trump in the restaurant:

It appears that these fake comments have been removed, but the strikingly positive comments (with 5 stars) that followed in response can still be seen. Like this one: “The service is always great and I would like to give a shout out to the new senior employee. He was so friendly and genuinely happy to work there. I will definitely be back.”

Another wrote: “Best McDonald’s I’ve been to in 47 years.”

‘Trump not invited’

The branch Trump visited on Sunday is in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania. The chain’s board was criticized for this: the company allegedly sided with Trump in the presidential elections. The board then sent an internal message to employees in which it wrote that it had not invited Trump; According to McDonald’s, the promotion is borne by the franchisee who owns the branch in question.

Referring to the house colors of the Democrats (blue), the Republicans (red) and McDonald’s itself (gold), the board wrote: “We are not red or blue – we are gold.”

Trump had devised the campaign stunt in response to his Democratic rival Kamala Harris, who said in an interview that she had briefly worked in a McDonald’s as a student. Trump, who likes to portray her as someone who has never worked a day in her life, claims that her claim is false, without substantiating that claim.

What’s Cooking at McDonald’s? A Review on Trump’s Fast Food Fiasco

By Your Favorite Comedic Blend

Well, well, well—what have we here? It seems Yelp has put up a big “CLOSED” sign on the reviews for the McDonald’s branch where the ex-President Donald Trump decided to whip up some culinary chaos. You know, from the way he flops around, one might think he was looking to make a Big Mac worth the calories! Alas, all hope of authenticity went out the window like a soggy fry when the fake reviews came pouring in from across the nation, dishing out critiques that would leave Gordon Ramsay clutching his heart. Talk about fast food for thought!

Fry Cry Reviews

Let’s dive into some of the online gems that surfaced. One delightful review painted the picture of a “convicted felon” who, in a touch of culinary flair, decided that gloves were for the weak and napping was an essential part of food prep. I mean come on, who doesn’t love their french fries with a side of felony?

But it didn’t stop there. The keyboard warriors were out in full force, reporting a “huge orange rat” in the kitchen. Yes, folks, perhaps it was only fitting that ratting and running were up on the menu at this particular McDonald’s—one can only hope the rats share a penchant for healthy debate!

Crying Over Fries?

In a poetic twist of irony, one review took aim at Trump’s ongoing claim that he was robbed in the last election. You know, the fries were apparently seasoned with the salty tears of someone who lost their lunch rights — typical drama on a plate! The message is clear: Don’t bring your electoral grievances to the fry station. Trust me, no one wants an extra serving of your late-night conspiracy theories with their quarter pounder!

McDonald’s Has Its Own Political Lesson

Meanwhile, the outrage didn’t stop at the condiment station. Many took issue with the fast-food chain itself, condemning it for allowing Trump to commandeer the booth like it was his personal campaign rally. And McDonald’s, true to the absurdity of this circus, was left backtracking like a driver realizing they’ve turned down a one-way street. Spoiler alert: The franchisee insists it wasn’t McDonald’s HQ serving up the political ballads. It was just a rogue McDonald’s—like a sibling who takes the family car without asking. McDonald’s corporate rebranded it— “We are not red or blue, we are gold!” Because, of course, nothing says neutrality like a side of golden fries!

Final Thoughts

As Trump tries to upstage Kamala Harris with a quick stop at Mickey D’s—a restaurant that’s synonymous with working-class comebacks—you’ve got to wonder what’s next? Will he challenge her to a fast-food cook-off? Given his culinary prowess, they might just end up launching a brand new menu item: The Political Poutine. And don’t forget, folks—next time you step into a fast-food joint, remember that the biggest crime committed behind that counter might not be just the state of the fries!

So, whether you prefer your fries with a side of politics or just want to avoid an orange rat at all costs, McDonald’s just gave us a feast of laughter served with a healthy dollop of societal absurdity. It’s fast food, folks, not fast politics!
