Big news for Tik Tok users, earning money just got easier

If you want to earn money from the popular social media app TikTok, the process is now being made easier.

The company is introducing a new system called the Creator Rewards program to give customers an opportunity to earn.

Note that TikTok introduced the Creativity Program in February 2023, which is now being renamed out of the beta version and offered to all users.

But under this program only those users will be able to earn money whose videos will be more than one minute in duration.

A blog post from the company stated that the Creator Rewards program will focus on 4 areas such as original content, video duration, search value and audience engagement minutes. According to Tik Tok, longer videos will allow users to earn more.

The company said that over the past 6 months, the revenue of users making long-form videos has increased by more than 250 percent, and the number of people making $50,000 per month is doubling.

As mentioned above, users wishing to join the program will be required to post videos of at least one minute duration on the social media app.

Along with this, the account must have at least 10,000 followers and 100,000 views of their videos in the last one month.

This new program will replace the old Crater Fund. The old Crater Fund earners were not restricted to the duration of videos, but the terms were strict enough that users demanded changes.

Another change being made by TikTok is renaming the live subscription tool to subscription.

This monetization tool was earlier only available to live streaming users but now it is being given access to others.

Through this tool users will be able to earn money through exclusive content (by charging a fee), badges and others.

Note that earlier in March 2023, Tik Tok introduced a feature called Series to allow creators to earn money directly from the app.

Users who qualify for the series can put their videos into an album and provide access to them for a fee.

This video album will be called a series album. Users will decide how much they will pay to view a series album, which can range from $1 to $190.

Users will not have to give TikTok any share of this revenue, but they will have to pay a fee to be a part of the series.
