Everything was announced during a presentation of regarding thirty minutes, which can be listened to below.
In terms of good news, let’s first name the implementation of the Forge mode, where players can let their imagination run wild by building their own content and, of course, sharing it.
Moreover, to demonstrate what players will be able to do with this new mode, two multiplayer maps, entirely built in the Forge, will also be integrated into the update.
Another highly anticipated positive point, the Campaign mode can be played online with friends. The possibility of tackling this new option will be offered cross-platform and, among other things, with the sharing of progress and new objectives to be achieved.
Now, on the side of disappointments, note that 343 Industries has put a cross on the project to integrate a co-op mode with split screen.
It’s a shame, since it would have added a special cachet to the gaming experience… but given the other new features that are coming, it may be a lesser evil, depending on taste.
